Oak Leyden Developmental Services, Inc

Oak/Leyden Developmental Services is a community-based, nonprofit organization whose mission is to help people with developmental disabilities meet life's challenges and reach their highest potential. The agency was founded in 1956 by concerned community parents who wanted their children with developmental challenges to live as independently as possible. Oak/Leyden now serves over 560 people from western Cook County, with a majority of individuals living in Oak Park, Berwyn, Cicero, Chicago, River Forest and surrounding townships. Oak/Leyden offers the following programs:
  • Early Intervention
  • Community Living Services
  • Vocational and Employment Services
  • Multidisciplinary Clinic
